How to Improve Plastic Injection Mold Quality in China?

Injection mold manufacturing is a very complicated process, from the steps of initial design, processing, assembly, mold trial, etc. to the final mass production. During the entire life cycle, we must take into account effects of each manufacturing process on the quality of injection mold. And concern every detail to improve the quality of injection mold.

During injection molds processing, to improve the quality of injection molds as from following aspects:

1. Good selection of casting material
The quality of material directly affects the quality of injection mold. It is very important to choose materials with good performance and good heat resistance. In this case, the product produced by good mold is the best.

2. Scientific and reasonable injection mold design
For technical researchers, if you want to design products that meet the needs of current market, you must design them reasonably, and use the most standard mold structure to complete the normative implement of advantages and disadvantages degree of mold parts, usability of mold structure and technical machinability.

3. Perfect quenching process
For injection mold, the quenching process is necessary. The quenching step should be correctly operated, if a step of operation occurs wrong, it will make produced mold have quality problems, resulting in the injection mold can’t use or shorten the service life.

4. Mold assembly

5. Mold maintenance
Mold maintenance is mainly the maintenance in production process. The mold should be comprehensive maintained after each mold use, especially the rust prevention of molding part and main moving parts. Because the mold needs to receive water during the production process, may get water on the mold during the installation or disassembly process, so ensure the drying of mold and then brush a layer of oil to protect.
